WHITE PLAINS, New York  -- "Great Minds Do Not Think Alike: How Men and Women Think and Act Differently in Business" will be the topic addressed by speaker Renee Weisman at the WEDC/Alliance holiday party on Wednesday, December 16, 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Lobby Conference Room at 1133 Westchester Avenue, White Plains.

Ms. Weisman, author of Winning in a Man’s World and 5 Ways to Get a Man to Listen, chartered new territory as one of the first women engineers, managers and working mothers in the male-dominated semiconductor division of IBM. With more than 40 years in education and industry, she has learned how to make gender differences work for her and teaches others how to do the same. A Distinguished Engineer and Director of Engineering at IBM Corporation prior to retiring, Ms. Weisman is the owner of Winning at Work Consulting, a company dedicated to enhancing women in their careers and enabling male managers to better understand how to capitalize on the differences between men and women in industry.

The cost, including a light supper and networking, is $30 for Alliance members, $40 for non-members, and $50 for walk-ins. To register, contact Kenya Ajose at (914) 948-6098 ext. 10.
