Craft Fair to Benefit Phelps Hospital to Be Held June 19 at James House Mansion

The Craft Fair will feature more than 30 vendors selling jewelry, clothing, pottery, handcrafted handbags, photography, decoupage, embroidered towels, candles and more. Admission and parking are free. Refreshments will be sold.

 

Established in 1955, the Phelps Auxiliary is a network of almost 350 men and women who provide volunteer services and participate in fundraising activities to help support the hospital. The Auxiliary raises approximately $150,000 every year, which helps finance capital improvements, new medical equipment and hospital programs such as Hospice education and complementary care.

 

Among the projects managed by the Auxiliary are the Phelps Gift Shop, the Cherry Door Thrift Shop at 36 Main Street in Tarrytown, and The James House Mansion, an 1851 stone mansion with river views which is available for rental for special occasions.
